It’s gonna be a quiet day…

Looks like today is going to be somewhat quiet at the office, and I’ll be able to concentrate on getting work done. The phone system we have is a channelized T1 for all our phone lines, and then separately we still have an ISDN line that powers our Internet connection. Well, the T1 has died, and the phone company may not be able to test it until 2 PM today (though a technician is supposed to be showing up before that. Basically, they are going to repeat all the tests that I did earlier 😉 That has put things in a bit of turmoil, of course. But not for me – I did my part, it can’t be fixed from my end of things, and now there’s no constant ringing of phones to disturb me 🙂
