I love conspiracy theories.  I mean, really, most of them are so stark raving mad or blatantly stupid that you have to question the sanity of anyone who tells you one in all seriousness.  But, in the back of my head, I do always remember one thing:  some of them are real.
For instance, back in my earlier days where I might have been hanging around with groups in the BBS community (back before my Elysian Fields days, even – if you have to ask what that was, the comment wasn’t ment for you 😉 who might have been into things they probably shouldn’t have been. Â There was a sort of conspiracy theory about something called Echelon, a supposed government listening system that could intercept phone, fax, etc. on a really huge scale. Â Of course, that was only a conspiracy theory… until it turned out to be true!
Sometimes conspiracy theories end up being true. Â Yes, we walked on the moon – don’t make me beat you over that. Â But, sometimes the kooks are on to something…
Also, this marks a slight change on how I handle bookmarking, and how I handle sharing links on social media sites. Â Here I can summarize big stuff into littler bites, and keep the links on my own site for future reference (and, I don’t have to worry about synching links across multiple platforms anymore!)
